BBC LEAGUE SCORING SYSTEMS
MAIN LEAGUES
Drivers will be in classes and formulas with overall qualifying positions used to allocate drivers into Finals.
League points will be scored by drivers on their Final result only.
For example:
For an “A” final containing six cars, four of which being F1 and two F2.
The best placed F1 driver (normally the winner) would get 100 points, second, third and fourth best F1 drivers getting 99, 98 and 97 points. Similarly, in this example the best placed F2 driver would score 100 and the other 99 points.
In the “B” final F1 drivers would be able to score a maximum of 96 points. Similar for F2 the maximum would be 98 points.
This system cascades down all the finals within a class.
SUPERLEAGUE
Drivers will be in classes and formulas with overall qualifying positions used to allocate drivers into Finals.
The Superleague will be run on an overall points basis.
League points will be scored by drivers on their Final result only.
For example:
For an “A” final containing six cars.
The winner would score 100 points, second 99, third 98, fourth 97, fifth 96, sixth 95.
The “B” Final winner would score 94 points, second 93 etc down through the finals to the same rules.
If a driver’s formula changes within the class during the year (normally due to promotion or demotion at the end of the Spring, Summer or Winter leagues), the points already scored will be retained.
The overall league table will display all driver’s points and formulas, showing the relative positions within each class formula.
