Twenty Eight drivers this week for the penultimate round of the 2024/25 Winter league.
After the three rounds of qualifying Karl Norris was quickest followed by Freddie Parker, Simon Pole, Chelle Snowden, Josh Flanagan and Noah Bailey all being closely matched for speed and making the “A” Final.

Finals
Carly Hopper won the “E” Final having 22 laps with Darren Thomas being the top “Team Thomas” driver taking second place on 21 laps and Eric Enion finished in third place on 19 laps.
The “D” Final was a good race with visiting driver George Hopper winning with 32 laps, a fine drive by Saul Theobold earned him second place, being two laps down on the leader. Will Lacey finished third a further lap down.
Kevin Morris won the “C” Final by just 0.42 seconds after a tremendous race with Ben Theobold, both having 34 laps. Visiting driver Philip Cooper was third with 32 laps.
Benn Norris was the winner of the “B” Final with 37 laps, another close race for second and third places with Adam Hancock finishing just over two seconds ahead of Ian Whiston both on 36 laps.
Just the “A” Final to go and it did not disappoint being a thrilling race with all six drivers finishing with 38 laps. Karl Norris started from pole position on the grid but it was Freddie Parker and Noah Bailey who set equal quickest lap times with Freddie winning the race, Noah taking second place and Karl Norris third. Chelle Snowden was fourth, Simon Pole fifth and Josh Flanagan sixth. Races don’t get much better to watch than this!
Just the final round of the Winter League remaining which will be held on Tuesday 4th March. It should provide an exciting finish especially in F1 where Karl Norris and Freddie Parker have equal scores at present and also F3 where Ian Wyatt is just a single point ahead of Jacob Milne.

Looking at the February “Personal Bests” there were very few improvements on the previous two weeks.
Many thanks to Chris Snowden for running race control and everyone who helped set up and store away all the equipment. Some extra people helping would be much appreciated especially when running five heats.
