27-08-24 August Clubnight

Simon Pole was the fastest in qualifying this week having 34 laps with Guy Rogers being just 0.13 seconds adrift in second place. Justin Heath was third and Adam Hancock fourth, all four drivers on the same laps.

Finals

Eric Enion was the winner of the “D” Final with Barry Thomas six laps behind in second place. Pole position driver Ian Craig had to retire from the race after two laps.

The “C” Final drivers finished in their start grid order, the winner Caleb Jones had an excellent race with 30 laps. Paul Wallis finished in second place, Will Lacey third and Kevin Flamson fourth.

Bob Harley was in top form, winning the “B” final with 33 laps, Ian Whiston finished in second place with 32 laps and Mike Simpson was third on 27 laps.

Another extremely close “A” Final with all five drivers having 34 laps. Simon Pole was the winner, Chelle Snowden second, Guy Rogers third, Justin Heath fourth and Adam Hancock fifth.

RC-Timing 

20-08-24 Superleague Round 4

Three drivers having 37 laps after the three rounds of qualifying. Karl Norris was the quickest, Simon Pole was in second place following a good run in the third round and Josh Flanagan was third.

Finals

First up was the “D” Final which proved to be a close race with the first three drivers all finishing on the same laps. Darren Thomas was the winner and top “Team Thomas” driver, with Barry Thomas in second place and Benedict Enion finishing third.

The “C” Final was won by Will Lacey with some great driving, Mike Simpson finished in second place being a lap down. A good performance also from Ian Craig to take third position.

Ian Whiston won a great “B” final, Richard Johnston took second place. Pole position driver Bob Harley fought his way back up into third place after a slow first lap.

In the “A” Final only four and a half seconds separated the first three drivers at the finish. Karl Norris was the winner, Josh Flanagan took second place just ahead of Simon pole. Benn Norris was fourth and Dan Stones fifth.

06-08-24 Summer League Round 6

A Josh Flanagan track design this week on which he was quickest after the three qualifying rounds being the top qualifier. Karl Norris was in second place and Dan Stones third, all three drivers with 30 laps..

Finals

Ian Craig won the “D” Final with 19 laps, it was very close for second and third places between the two “Team Thomas” drivers, second place went to Darren and Barry was third, both having the same number of laps.

The “C” Final drivers were all very evenly matched for speed, at the finish Mike Simpson was the winner, Paul Wallis a close second, Gaz de Roeck was third being just ahead of Will Lacey.

A great win for club Chairman Bob Harley in the “B” final with 28 laps, Kevin Morris took second place ahead of Ian Whiston, both with 27 laps.

In the last race of the evening Josh Flanagan started from pole position on the grid and as usual the “A” Final produced tremendous race to watch. At the finish it was Karl Norris who won, Josh was second and Dan Stones third – all with 30 laps. Adam Hancock was fourth on 29 laps, Benn Norris and Richard Johnston finished in fifth and sixth places with 28 laps.

30-07-24 Summer League Round 5

It was very close in the Qualifying with Karl Norris being quickest by 0.25 of a second from Josh Flanagan in second place with Simon Pole being third just under a further three seconds behind Josh, all three with 35 Laps.

Prior to the Finals the Spring League trophies were presented by Chelle Snowden.

Finals

Ian Craig won the “E” final with Kevin Flamson taking second place, both with 24 laps, Benedict Enion was third.

The “D” final winner was Kevin Morris on 31 laps with Gaz de Roeck and Saul Theobold finishing second and third respectively a lap down on the leader.

The “C” final was won by Richard Johnston with 32 laps, Ian Whiston was second. also with 32 laps and Caleb Jones third on 31.

The “B” final was an extremely close race with Dan Stones winning, Andrew Slingsby taking second place and Guy Rogers third – all with 34 laps.

The “A” Final was as usual great to watch with “Team Norris” taking the top two places. Karl was the winner, Benn finished second, Adam Hancock third and Simon Pole fourth – all four drivers with 34 laps. Chelle Snowden was fifth and Josh Flanagan sixth.
